9 patients with osteomyelitis (two with additional soft tissue infections caused by tuberculous mixed infection) as well as one fistulation of the abdominal wall were surgically treated with subsequent implantation of Gentamycin-PMMA-Beads or -Chains for local antibiotic therapy. All cases were cured with wound healing between 7 and 35 days. The preparation was well tolerated.
