[Diagnosis and guidelines for physical therapy in postmastectomy, chronic, progressive lymphedema of the arm].

Diagnostics as well as lymphatic drainage and edema physiotherapy according to Asdonk and Bartetzko in uncomplicated mild and severe lymphatic edema of the arm after mastectomy are reported. The treatment guidelines are discussed and the principal treatment technique is illustrated.
