Abstract

A patient accidentally drove a darning needle through her chest wall into her left ventricle. After referral five weeks later as possible case of infective endocarditis, the needle was detected and removed successfully by open heart surgery. It was localised precisely by echocardiography.

一名患者意外将一根织补针穿过胸壁刺入左心室。五周后作为感染性心内膜炎的疑似病例转诊后，通过心脏直视手术成功检测并取出了这根针。通过超声心动图精确确定了其位置。
