A newborn baby with bilateral renal vein thrombosis is presented; diagnosis was made on clinical and radiological basis; she died with severe complications such as pulmonary hemorrhage and disseminated intravascular coagulation. It is emphasized that the bilateral form is rare and prognosis is variable depending upon clinical evolution.
