The author confirmed the fact that S. coli (E. coli) No. 2624/36 and 5396/38 strains were referred to the serological type O37 : H1,5(Salmonella) : Vi of the Citrobacter genus. Strains of this serological type of Citrobacter failed to ferment cellobiose, starch, contained no decarboxylase of glutamic acid, and did not utilize sodium malonate; they fermented glycerine.
作者证实，大肠杆菌2624/36株和5396/38株属于柠檬酸杆菌属血清型O37:H1,5（沙门氏菌）:Vi。这种血清型的柠檬酸杆菌菌株不能发酵纤维二糖、淀粉，不含谷氨酸脱羧酶，不利用丙二酸钠；它们能发酵甘油。
