A positive food challenge doesn't imply that there is an IgE mediated allergy but implies the patient is intolerant to certain foods. If specific IgE and/or prick test to a specific food-stuff is positive, an IgE-mediated mechanism is likely to be involved but a proportion of patients with IgE to foods do not present any symptom when ingesting the food.
阳性食物激发试验并不意味着存在IgE介导的过敏，而是意味着患者对某些食物不耐受。如果针对特定食物的特异性IgE和/或点刺试验呈阳性，则可能涉及IgE介导的机制，但一部分对食物有IgE的患者在摄入该食物时并未出现任何症状。
