The present study reports on a case of paraganglioma of the urinary bladder and briefly reviews the literature.
METHODS/RESULTS: The patient presented with gross hematuria and no history of hypertension. The pathological findings were diagnostic of paraganglioma of the urinary bladder.
Extra-adrenal pheochromocytoma is uncommon. Although it usually presents with typical symptoms, these are also determined by tumor location. Currently, there are no anatomopathological criteria to distinguish the benign from the malignant form.
本研究报告一例膀胱副神经节瘤病例，并简要回顾相关文献。
方法/结果：该患者表现为肉眼血尿，无高血压病史。病理检查结果确诊为膀胱副神经节瘤。
肾上腺外嗜铬细胞瘤并不常见。虽然它通常表现出典型症状，但这些症状也取决于肿瘤的位置。目前，尚无区分良性和恶性形式的解剖病理学标准。
