Abstract

Tissue repair after oral surgical procedures is adversely impacted by patient malnutrition. Protein, carbohydrates, fat, vitamins, and minerals play key roles in the different phases of the wound-healing process. Most patients can achieve adequate dietary intakes by following recommended eating patterns based on moderation and variety. Appropriate nutritional assessment and intervention can enhance the potential for optimal wound healing after dental surgery.

患者营养不良会对口腔外科手术后的组织修复产生不利影响。蛋白质、碳水化合物、脂肪、维生素和矿物质在伤口愈合过程的不同阶段发挥着关键作用。大多数患者通过遵循基于适度和多样化的推荐饮食模式,能够实现充足的饮食摄入。适当的营养评估和干预可以提高牙科手术后实现最佳伤口愈合的可能性。
