The paper provides evidence for perspectives of the toxicological equipment for protozoa chemotaxis bioassay, which allows one to solve the problems in preparing a culture, a sample, testing solutions and measurement of protozoan reactions. A Poisson process device was proposed to use for construction of a mathematical model of a protozoan concentration transducer. The experimental findings supported the dependence theoretically forwarded. With the new approach, a BIOTESTER-2 device was designed, which has found its use in controlling the quality of water, antibiotics, in mapping the contamination of areas. The device may be used in the evaluation of the toxicity of biological fluids.
