[Synthesis of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide from exogenous precursors. Properties and regulation of enzymes].

Data on the properties and regulation of the enzymes of NAD salvage synthesis and the enzymes involved in degradation of NAD and intermediates of NAD synthesis are reviewed. An elaborate system of control of NAD synthesis and a key role of ATP in this process are discussed. These data can be used intensification of NAD production.
