Is adapting to others codependency or flexibility?

Codependency may continue into a professional role and result in a manager who has low feelings of self-worth and a strong need for approval from others. 3. Flexibility is different from codependency. A flexible individual has strong and positive feelings of self-worth and is able to listen to opposing points of view and actively listen to others. Change and compromise are possible for this person.
