Following a careful review of the international literature and the rationale underlying the use of fibrin cement in obstetrics, the authors describe the application of this technique in a case of premature rupture of the membranes at week 21 of pregnancy which subsequently concluded positively with spontaneous birth at week. They also underline the need to study and evaluate carefully all contraindications to the use of fibrin cement.
