[Pain control in children in the postoperative period according to the author's own scale of subjective pain assessment during tramal treatment].

A scale of subjective pain evaluation has been elaborated for preschool children aged 1 to 3 years. The scale makes it possible to assess the degree of pain in the postoperative period and to control pain by medical therapy. All the patients have recovered after mild and moderate surgical traumas. Pain was relieved by tramal. The data obtained by the scale were compared with the findings of phase analysis, respiratory rate, and heart rate.
