The effect of leukinferon (LKF) administration to 20 patients with acute renal inflammation was evaluated versus the effect of basic therapy given to 19 matched patients. A short course of LKF (3 injections) promoted more rapid discontinuation of the fever, recovery of satisfactory general condition, healing of postoperative wounds. Immunologically, the test subjects exhibited a rise in the previously low levels of lymphocytes, B-cells, T-helpers, IgA and IgG. The proportion of T-lymphocyte subpopulations improved and the activity of EC-cells enhanced. It is thought valid to use LKF in acute renal inflammation and surgical urological affections.
对20例急性肾炎患者使用白细胞干扰素（LKF）的效果与19例匹配患者接受基础治疗的效果进行了评估。短疗程的LKF（3次注射）能更迅速地退热，使患者的一般状况恢复良好，术后伤口愈合。在免疫学方面，受试对象先前较低水平的淋巴细胞、B细胞、辅助性T细胞、IgA和IgG有所升高。T淋巴细胞亚群的比例得到改善，EC细胞的活性增强。认为在急性肾炎和泌尿外科疾病中使用LKF是有效的。
