Somatostatin was given to male Wistar rats subjected to adrenal enucleation combined with monoadrenalectomy. It was found that somatostatin (25 micrograms/kg) inhibited both cell proliferation and corticosterone output on the fourth and on the eighth days of adrenal regeneration.
将生长抑素给予接受肾上腺摘除联合单侧肾上腺切除术的雄性Wistar大鼠。结果发现，生长抑素（25微克/千克）在肾上腺再生的第4天和第8天抑制细胞增殖和皮质酮分泌。
