Abstract

A 40-year-old man was operated on for gynaecomastia, and on histological examination the enlarged breast tissue was found to contain a fibroadenoma. Fibroadenoma of the breast is extremely rare in men, and this is the first report to our knowledge of a fibroadenoma associated with idiopathic gynaecomastia.
