After a critical review of the many unsettled questions in psychosomatic medicine the author emphasizes the importance of the results of the so-called-research in mathematics, physics, biology and internal medicine. He developed various models for a deeper understanding not only of health and sickness but specially of the body/soul-problem and demonstrates the importance and fertility of the chaos-investigation for the psychosomatic medicine.
