Abstract
A case of post-pyrexial acute cerebellar ataxia in a 14 year old girl is presented and the available literature is reviewed. The therapeutic efficacy of thiamine hydrochloride observed in this patient lends some support to the view that acute thiamine depletion may be the pathogenetic mechanism for post-pyrexial acute cerebellar ataxia.

本文报告了一名14岁女孩发热后急性小脑性共济失调的病例，并对现有文献进行了综述。该患者使用盐酸硫胺素治疗有效，这为急性硫胺素缺乏可能是发热后急性小脑性共济失调的发病机制这一观点提供了一定支持。
