A simple device for end-to-end-anastomosing of vessels is presented. Microclamps with vessels to be anastomosed are inserted through the window of a small, stiff-elastic frame made of plastic or cardboard that can be cut to size. This enables optimal approximation of the vessels' cut ends, so that vessel sutures can be performed easily. The frame is characterized by a low price, simple construction and handling, elastic stiffness, low mechanical susceptibility and safety. It can be equipped with a millimeter scale and a pin cushion. As an operative device for end-to-end-anastomosis, it provides an inexpensive alternative to the hitherto existing mechanical devices.
