From 1968 till 1977 we observed 150 patients with carcinoma of the head of the pancreas and the ampulla of Vater. In 29% a radical operation (duodeno-pancreatectomy) could be practiced. The prognosis of carcinoma of the head of the pancreas is much less favourable in comparison to the carcinoma of the ampulla of Vater.
从1968年至1977年，我们观察了150例胰头癌和壶腹癌患者。其中29%的患者可行根治性手术（十二指肠 - 胰切除术）。与壶腹癌相比，胰头癌的预后要差得多。
