Amino acids of the Krebs-Henseleit cycle of median and lateral lobes in human benign prostatic hypertrophy.

The levels of citrulline, ornithine and arginine were determined in median and lateral lobes of benign prostatic hypertrophy. No statistically significant differences could be stated. In connnection with the concentration of total protein and urea, some hypotheses were formulated for the very high glutamate level of human prostatic tissue.
