Abstract

The frequency of cells with pronuclei was determined among the cells subject to acute and long-term treatment and their descendants. It remained unchanged after acute irradiation (60Co) at doses of 10-40 cGy but was elevated in three generations after long-term irradiation (137Cs, 20-40 cGy) and residence in the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident zone.
