[Thrombomatch--an ELISA test for detection of antibodies to HLA antigens and platelet-specific antigens. Clinical experiences in compatibility testing of platelet transfusions].

We tested a new ELISA--called thrombomatch--for antibody detection against HLA- and platelet-specific antigens in comparison with MAIPA, Capture-P-Modified an lymphocytotoxicity. Sensitivity of the thrombomatch ist a little lower than the MAIPA, higher than lymphocytotoxicity and Capture-PM in the alloantibody detection. The thrombomatch is very helpful for a immunological monitoring of the antibody formation while long-term blood substitution in hemato-oncological patients. An antibody screening should be done in the lymphocytotoxicity and in the Elisa thrombomatch.
