Delayed presentation of a right-sided diaphragmatic hernia following necrotizing enterocolitis: case report.

We report a case of a right-sided diaphragmatic hernia in a premature twin, which presented in the 2nd week of life with a persistent pleural effusion following a bowel perforation due to necrotizing enterocolitis. The position of the right hemidiaphragm initially was normal and the definite diagnosis was made by ultrasound.
