Ecstasy is the term of MDMA, which is spread most of all in the techno scene. Wellknown for centuries as an agent of the nutmeg, MDMA was discovered as a drug during the last decades. Origin, physical and psychical effects and the results of chronicle abuse are described. Consume of XTC as a typical drug abuse of the techno scene represents a new challenge for the classical drug aid system. There are only few points of contact with the heroin scene.
