Abstract
The effect of dexamethasone, given thrice weekly, on neuromuscular blocking by D-tubocurarine was studied in mice. Dexamethasone antagonised the effect of D-tubocurarine. This antagonism developed gradually during the first two weeks of treatment. The possible relationship between this finding and the beneficial effect of glucocorticosteroids in patients with myasthenia gravis is discussed.

研究了每周三次给予地塞米松对小鼠D-筒箭毒碱神经肌肉阻滞作用的影响。地塞米松拮抗了D-筒箭毒碱的作用。这种拮抗作用在治疗的前两周逐渐显现。讨论了这一发现与糖皮质激素对重症肌无力患者有益作用之间的可能关系。
