On the basis of the theses of the Supreme Court of Judicature of the GDR about medical accuracy two main problems are discussed. The first deals with anaesthesia in hospitals without a specialized anaesthesiologist, the second is to define the responsibility between surgeon and specialised anaesthesiologist.
