[Diagnostic conization of the uterine cervix. I. Classification of histological diagnoses].

This study concerns 1000 diagnostic conizations of the uterine cervix performed between 1969 and 1975 and the distribution of histologic findings. 91,3 per cent of the total group demonstrated atypical lesions. 8,7 per cent of the patients had benign disorders; in these cases colposcopic and cytologic screening had been overrated.
