In the previous article, Die belewenis van die pasiënt met VIGS: Deel I, better insight was obtained in the experiences of the patient with AIDS. In this article the focus is on the clinical application options of this research. Guidelines are set in this research to enable the nurse to facilitate the quest to wholeness of the patient with AIDS and the psychiatric nurse specialist to act as consultant for nurses who nurse the patient with AIDS in hospitals, nursing homes and at home.
