Hemimegalencephaly or unilateral megalencephaly is a rare malformation characterized by overdevelopment of all or part of one cerebral hemisphere. Although previous pathological studies noted an associated overdevelopment of the ipsilateral cerebellar hemisphere in a few cases, to the best of the author's knowledge, such an association has not yet been reported in the radiological literature. This paper reports a 1-yr-old patient with hemimegalencephaly of the right cerebral hemisphere, and hemimegalencephaly of the ipsilateral cerebellar hemisphere. The ipsilateral half of the brainstern was also enlarged. This condition is suggested to be labelled as "total hemimegalencephaly".
半侧巨脑畸形或单侧巨脑畸形是一种罕见的畸形，其特征是一侧大脑半球的全部或部分过度发育。尽管先前的病理学研究在少数病例中注意到同侧小脑半球有相关的过度发育，但据作者所知，放射学文献中尚未报道过这种关联。本文报告了一名1岁的患者，其右侧大脑半球存在半侧巨脑畸形，同侧小脑半球也有半侧巨脑畸形。同侧脑干的一半也增大。这种情况建议标记为“全半侧巨脑畸形”。
