[Quality assurance by interviews with patients].

Subjective criteria like patient satisfaction are of increasing interest in evaluation of psychiatric care. Although many improvements have been made in patient satisfaction research, methodological problems limit the interpretation of the findings. Further research is needed to develop reliable and valid instruments for measuring patient satisfaction within quality assurance. Own studies and findings are presented.
