[Characteristics of the myeloperoxidase-dependent bactericidal system of blood neutrophil granulocytes in patients with suppurative-septic diseases].

It was established on the ground of comparative analysis of the blood neutrophils oxidant activity (OA), estimated on the reason of chemoluminescence index and morphometric determination of bactericidal enzyme myeloperoxidase activity in 150 patients with septic-purulent diseases and 30 healthy persons, that frequent association of high indexes of the neutrophils OA and the low enzyme activity don't reflect the functional full value of myeloperoxidase system of the neutrophils bactericidal activity.
