The variety of MR angiography strategies can be applied to the evaluation of vascular disease in the aortoiliac and femoropopliteal vessels. When used appropriately, a combination of these strategies can be offered to patients with peripheral vascular disease as a safe and effective alternative to conventional angiography for planning treatment options.
