We report a case of angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia (ALHE). Histologically, some vessels were lined with plump endothelial cells. Infiltration by lymphocytes, histiocytes and eosinophils was marked. An arteriovenous malformation and vessels occluded by endothelial cell hyperplasia were present. PCNA staining gave positive results for the nuclei of many of the plump endothelial cells. Electron-microscopic findings disclosed increased metabolic activity in the cells. These observations suggest that the plump endothelial cells, characteristic of ALHE, have high metabolic activity. These results suggest that blood flow is increased by arteriovenous malformations and that blood pressure is elevated by occlusion, resulting in hyperplasia of plump endothelial cells and accelerated neovascularization.
我们报告一例伴有嗜酸性粒细胞增多的血管淋巴样增生症（ALHE）。组织学上，一些血管内衬有肥大的内皮细胞。淋巴细胞、组织细胞和嗜酸性粒细胞浸润明显。存在动静脉畸形以及被内皮细胞增生阻塞的血管。增殖细胞核抗原（PCNA）染色显示许多肥大内皮细胞核呈阳性结果。电子显微镜检查结果揭示细胞代谢活性增加。这些观察结果表明，ALHE特有的肥大内皮细胞具有高代谢活性。这些结果提示，动静脉畸形使血流增加，而血管阻塞使血压升高，导致肥大内皮细胞增生并加速新生血管形成。
