We report a patient with Gowers' local panatrophy, who developed skin atrophy on the left upper arm, right lower leg and facial hemiatrophy without a thickening or a sclerosing process. Histological examination revealed loss of thickness of the dermis and subcutaneous tissue. It is suggested that skin atrophy was induced by a nonsclerosing process, different from the inflammation and fibrosis observed in scleroderma.
我们报告一例患有戈尔斯局部全身萎缩症的患者，其左上臂、右小腿出现皮肤萎缩以及面部半侧萎缩，未伴有增厚或硬化过程。组织学检查显示真皮和皮下组织厚度变薄。提示皮肤萎缩是由非硬化过程引起的，这与硬皮病中观察到的炎症和纤维化不同。
