Cisplatin is a very effective drug in modern chemotherapy practice. It has many side effects, including neurotoxicity, and has been tentatively implicated in acute stroke. We describe a 21-year-old woman who presented with an acute stroke, confirmed on MRI as a cerebral infarction.
