206 perforations of stomach or duodenal ulcers were treated by primary resection or simple suture between 1963 and 1972. The lethality of these two methods of treatment was compared with the age of the patients, the duration of symptoms, the length of time between perforation and surgery, and the localization of the perforated ulcer. Our analysis showed that, as a rule, primary resection is preferable, except in old age.
1963年至1972年间，对206例胃或十二指肠溃疡穿孔患者采用了一期切除或单纯缝合治疗。对这两种治疗方法的致死率与患者年龄、症状持续时间、穿孔至手术的时间间隔以及穿孔性溃疡的部位进行了比较。我们的分析表明，通常情况下，除老年患者外，一期切除更可取。
