Phytochemical investigation of the hydrodistillation products of the basidiomycetes Fomitopsis pinicola, Piptoporus betulinus, Gloeophyllum odoratum and Trametes suaveolens led to the identification of numerous mono- and sesquiterpenes as well as many aliphatic alcohols, aldehydes and ketones and some aromatic compounds.
