Abstract
Rayer's scientific work is extended on several fields of the medicine. His most considerable contribution concerns dermatology, anatomopathology, infectious pathology and medical chemistry. However, thanks more particularly to his work on uro-nephrology, Rayer is considered as one of the founders of this discipline.
