[The discovery of descendants of Ambroise Pare (1510-1590). His family formerly till howadays].

By a curious chance the author has been allowed to find the track of present descendants of Ambroise Pare badly known or ignored today. On Pare's ten children only three daughters survived. Two had many descendants: Catherine (1560-1616) daughter of Pare's first wife Jeanne Mazelin and another Catherine (1581-1659) daughter of his second wife Jacqueline Rousselet, who married Claude Hedelin. While traveling through the centuries the author has arrived to the count Philippe de Chastellux, the present director of the biblioteque Genealogique in Paris, descendant of Pare's first marriage and to the family of the counts de Longueau Saint Michel issued from Pare's first and second marriages.
