[Studies on the chemical constituents of soft coral Lemnalia bournei].

The studies on the chemical constituents of soft coral Lemnalia bournei led to the isolation of 2-deoxy-12-oxo-lemnacarnol, 22,23-dihydrobrassicasterol, gorgosterol and batyl alcohol. Their structures were deduced on the comprehensive spectral analysis. The four compounds were first obtained from the soft coral.
