Even after fifteen years of use, behavioral objectives are still the subject of controversy. In radiologic technology programs their use is relatively new and not too well understood by some. This statement, therefore, briefly emphasizes why it is important to the student and teacher alike to identify what the student will be expected to achieve and how the degree of his achievement will be assessed.
