We report a case of testicular embryonal carcinoma in a patient with bilateral cryptorchidism. The diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of this disease entity are discussed. Although scrotal ultrasound constitutes an effective diagnostic method, it does not provide pathognomonic images that permit determining tumor histology as shown in the present case. Treatment of this tumor type depends on the degree of tumor spread: for stage I: inguinal orchidectomy and stage II: orchidectomy+lymphadenectomy. The need for adjuvant chemotherapy in these cases is discussed. In our view, it must depend on each specific case.
我们报告一例双侧隐睾患者的睾丸胚胎癌病例。讨论了该疾病实体的诊断和治疗方面。尽管阴囊超声是一种有效的诊断方法，但它并不能提供如本病例所示的能够确定肿瘤组织学的特征性图像。这种肿瘤类型的治疗取决于肿瘤扩散程度：I期：腹股沟睾丸切除术；II期：睾丸切除术+淋巴结清扫术。讨论了这些病例中辅助化疗的必要性。我们认为，这必须取决于每个具体病例。
