A 58-year-old man diagnosed as having acanthosis nigricans symmetrically distributed on the face, neck, hands, navel and external genitals, was admitted to our department for further investigation of abnormal chest films. Bronchoscopy revealed squamous cell carcinoma of left S6 and solitary bronchial papilloma of left S3. After left pneumonectomy, facial hyperpigmentation improved slightly. About half of the reported cases of acanthosis nigricans are accompanied by various kinds of malignant neoplasms, mostly adenocarcinomas of the digestive system. The association with squamous cell carcinoma of the lung in our case appears to be unique. Only 16 cases of solitary bronchial papilloma, including our case which had the smallest diameter of 2 mm, have been reported in Japan. While it is suggested that malignant neoplasms contribute to abnormal epidermal growth such as acanthosis nigricans, a causal relationship between squamous cell carcinoma of the lung and bronchial papilloma cannot be established.
一名58岁男性，被诊断为在面部、颈部、手部、肚脐和外生殖器出现对称性分布的黑棘皮病，因胸部X光片异常而入院接受进一步检查。支气管镜检查显示左肺下叶背段（S6）鳞状细胞癌和左肺上叶前段（S3）孤立性支气管乳头状瘤。左肺切除术后，面部色素沉着略有改善。约半数报道的黑棘皮病病例伴有各种恶性肿瘤，其中大多数为消化系统腺癌。我们病例中黑棘皮病与肺鳞状细胞癌的关联似乎很独特。在日本，仅报道过16例孤立性支气管乳头状瘤，包括我们这个直径最小为2毫米的病例。虽然有观点认为恶性肿瘤会导致如黑棘皮病这样的表皮异常生长，但肺鳞状细胞癌与支气管乳头状瘤之间的因果关系尚未确立。
