Abstract
A study was undertaken to determine the health locus of control beliefs and the health promotion and safety restraint use attitudes of a sample of previously injured motor vehicle occupants. Health locus of control was not found to be related to more favorable attitudes toward safety restraint use and restraint use legislation.
