PURPOSE
To report pseudohypopyon after intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide injection for cystoid macular edema.
DESIGN
Retrospective, noncomparative, consecutive case series.
METHODS
Records were reviewed of all patients who developed pseudohypopyon after intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide injection at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute between January 1, 2002 and February 1, 2004.
RESULTS
A total of 828 intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide injections were administered to 686 patients during the study period. A pseudohypopyon (fine white crystalline opacities in the inferior anterior chamber angle) and suspended white crystalline opacities in the aqueous humor developed after 7 of the 828 injections (0.8%); all pseudohypopyons occurred within 3 days of injection and resolved completely within 2 weeks. None of the 686 patients developed clinically suspected infectious endophthalmitis.
CONCLUSIONS
A transient pseudohypopyon may occur in the early postinjection period after intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide injection. Unless progressive intraocular inflammation occurs, close observational management is indicated.

回顾了2002年1月1日至2004年2月1日期间在巴斯科姆·帕尔默眼科研究所接受玻璃体内注射曲安奈德后出现假性前房积脓的所有患者的记录。
结果
在研究期间，共对686例患者进行了828次玻璃体内曲安奈德注射。828次注射中有7次（0.8%）后出现假性前房积脓（前房下角细小白色结晶性混浊）及房水中悬浮的白色结晶性混浊；所有假性前房积脓均在注射后3天内出现，并在2周内完全消退。686例患者中无一例发生临床疑似感染性眼内炎。
结论
玻璃体内注射曲安奈德后早期可能出现短暂性假性前房积脓。除非发生进行性眼内炎症，否则建议密切观察处理。
