The research presently being conducted in ergonomics around the country serves as the basis for the evaluation of the data collected. However, good job analysis and problem-solving are the primary cornerstones of ergonomics and are ones that require not only education but also experience in order to be most effective. In a field as complex and multidisciplinary as ergonomics, it is important to recognize the benefits of other disciplines. Problem-solving is often most effective when approached in a cooperative fashion. The industrial client and the field of ergonomics are often best served by a multidisciplinary team.
