Abstract

In this report, we describe the identification of an HLA-A31 nucleotide sequence variant, a new HLA-A3111, in three members of a Korean family by using sequence-based typing (SBT). The new allele was detected during routine HLA typing by high-resolution SBT. Allele A3111 showed one nucleotide difference with A310102 at codon 165 (GTG-->CTG) resulting in an amino acid change from valine to leucine (V165L). Serologic reactivity was shorter than normally expected.

在本报告中,我们描述了通过基于序列的分型(SBT)在一个韩裔家庭的三名成员中鉴定出一种HLA - A31核苷酸序列变体,即一种新的HLA - A31:11。该新等位基因是在通过高分辨率SBT进行常规HLA分型过程中检测到的。等位基因A31:11在密码子165处与A31:01:02有一个核苷酸差异(GTG→CTG),导致氨基酸从缬氨酸变为亮氨酸(V165L)。血清学反应性比正常预期的要短。
