BACKGROUND
Verrucous carcinoma of the foot is a slow-growing tumor that is capable of causing vast local destruction. It is a rare tumor and is frequently misdiagnosed as a plantar wart.
OBJECTIVE
To describe a patient with verrucous carcinoma of the foot treated by Mohs micrographic surgery and give a review of the literature.
RESULTS
A 43-year-old male with plantar verrucous carcinoma was successfully treated with Mohs micrographic surgery.
CONCLUSION
Early diagnosis of verrucous carcinoma of the foot and treatment with Mohs micrographic surgery may prevent amputation of the foot.
背景
足部疣状癌是一种生长缓慢的肿瘤，能够造成大面积的局部破坏。它是一种罕见的肿瘤，常被误诊为跖疣。
目的
描述1例采用莫氏显微外科手术治疗的足部疣状癌患者并进行文献复习。
结果
1例43岁足底疣状癌男性患者成功接受了莫氏显微外科手术治疗。
结论
足部疣状癌的早期诊断及采用莫氏显微外科手术治疗可避免足部截肢。
