Community ophthalmology is based mainly on the principles of primary healthcare approach with active community involvement and participation, focus on prevention, equity of distribution of resources, involvement of correct and recent technological procedures and integrated multisectoral approach. In our country National Programme for Control of Blindness was launched in 1976. Community ophthalmology programme can play definitely a great role there.
社区眼科主要基于初级卫生保健方法的原则，有社区的积极参与，注重预防、资源分配公平、采用正确和最新的技术程序以及综合多部门方法。我国于1976年启动了全国防盲计划。社区眼科计划在那里肯定能发挥很大作用。
